The basic conditions of the installation:
- slope of the roof minimum 7° (12 %)
- overlap is min. 150 mm if the slop is > 9° (15%) and min. 300 mm if the slope is ≤ 9° (15%)
- distance between the support is max. 1200 mm

KS1000 HTL is a translucent roof element that allows natural daylight into buildings, whilst maintaining thermal efficiency and aesthetic appearance. This is a product with GRP top sheet and polycarbonate bottom sheet combination for buildings with Kingspan RW and FF Roof panel where the thermo insulation and the designed surface is required.

- Overlap is min. 150 mm if the slop is > 9° (15%) and min. 300 mm if the slope is ≤ 9° (15%)
- Distance between the support is max. 1200 mm
- The minimum slope of the roof is 7° (12%)
- Each panel is distributed to the place of installation manually

Available Lengths
The standard panel length is between 1.8 and 6.50 meters. It is possible to deliver panels shorter than 1.8 m and longer than 6.50 m, but this should be discussed with Kingspan first.

External Weather Sheet
35 mm deep profiled Glass reinforced polyester (GRP) sheet, Class 3, weight 1.83 kg/m2.
Internal liner Sheet
Multicells polycarbonate panel 25 mm thick, weight 3.40 kg/m2
Profiled spacers
External facing (GRP) and polycarbonate panel are fixed together with profiles made of polyethylene foam, which are placed on both ends of the roolight. In addition, the ends of the polycarbonate panel are secured from condensation by using aluminum foil.
Seals and fillers
KS1000 HTL is fitted with sealing tape (PVC) factory applied on interior side of the "free rib", and polyethylene sealing tape P19 (30x8mm) factory applied along both sides of the rooflight .
Distance profiles and side flashings
Distance profiles made of aluminum steel 0,9 mm and side flashings masking insulation core of sandwich panles adjacent to the rooflights. The dimensions of these elements are matched to compensate the difference between thickness of roof panel and rooflight.
